1. The principle of stacking spiral steel pipes is to stack according to varieties and specifications on the premise of stable stacking and safety, and stack materials of different varieties separately to prevent mixing and mutual erosion;

2. It is forbidden to store the articles with corrosive effect on steel around the stacking position of spiral steel pipe;

3. The bottom of the spiral steel pipe stack shall be padded high, firm and flat to prevent the material from moisture or deformation;

4. The same kind of materials shall be stacked according to the warehousing sequence;

5. For the spiral steel pipe section steel stacked in the open air, there must be a wood pad or strip stone under it, and the stacking surface is slightly inclined to facilitate drainage, and pay attention to the straightness of the material placement to prevent bending and deformation;

6. The stacking height of spiral steel pipe shall not exceed 1.2m for manual work, 1.5m for mechanical work and 2.5m for stacking width;

7. There should be a certain channel between the stacks. The inspection channel is generally 0.5m, and the access channel is generally 1.5 ~ 2.0m depending on the size of the material and the transport machinery;

8. Angle steel and channel steel shall be stacked in the open air in a downward position, I-beam shall be placed vertically, and I-channel surface of steel shall not be upward, so as to avoid water accumulation and rust;

9. If the warehouse is a sunny cement ground, it can be padded 0.1M high; if it is a mud ground, it must be padded 0.2 ~ 0.5m high. If it is an open-air site, the cement ground is 0.3-0.5m high and the sand mud surface is 0.5-0.7m high.
